The GitHub Star Sync app enables you to track your GitHub stars as an event in PostHog. Because Stars are important!
Requirements
The GitHub Star Sync app requires either PostHog Cloud, or a self-hosted PostHog instance running version 1.30.0 or later.
Not running 1.30.0? Find out how to update your self-hosted PostHog deployment!
Installation
- Log in to your PostHog instance
- Click 'Apps' on the left-hand tool bar
- Search for 'GitHub Star Sync' press 'Install'
- Configure the by specifying a GitHub user/repo to sync.
- Optionally, add a personal API key to help with rate limits
